A Very busy end of July kicking off at noon Thursday on KCXL 1140am

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

I wanted to update all of you on the exciting couple of weeks we’re currently experiencing as we wrap up July.

The past week has had several exciting developments that I’m just going to have to tease you with by letting you know we’ve been working hard behind the scenes on some big stuff to be revealed soon.

This Thursday, July 23rd, I will be on KCXL 1140 AM’s “Lives in the Balance” with Jason Littlejohn at noon to make an announcement about the future of Liberty Restoration Project’s core team and what it means for Kansas City and the state of Missouri.  Dr. Bob Bowman will also be on the show.

Bob Bowman is former Director of Advanced Space Programs Development for the US Air Force in the Ford and Carter administrations, and a former US Air Force Lt. Coloniel. He was an early critic of the “Star Wars” defense program.

His appearance on the KCXL is in advance of a speaking engagement this Saturday the 25th at Uptown Theater’s Valentine Room at 7:00pm.

Unfortunately that same night, is Catherine’s party. If you had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Catherine and would like to celebrate, shoot her an email catherine@libertyrestorationproject.org

Campaign for Liberty will be hosting a rally for Auditing the Federal Reserve the night before, Friday the 24th at 4:15pm right outside Dennis Moore’s Overland Park office.

This is in advance of our Federal Reserve Rally on Sunday the 26th outside the KC Federal Reserve Bank 27th and Main 5:00 PM RSVP Here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=99931834422

Huge Real ID Victory in the state of Missouri. Shift focus to PASS act.

Monday, July 13th, 2009

Congratulations Missouri, your driver’s license is safe….for now.

From the Governor’s Website:

HB 361 -

Protects a driver’s license applicant’s privacy rights and limits use of an applicant’s personal information for other purposes

July 13, 2009 – Signed by Governor Nixon

The battle is NOT over, however. The United States Senate is trying to pass the PASS act which is essentially Real ID on steroids.

Here are some of the action alerts going around about the PASS act

A Special Message From Kevin About Our Next Event – What is Grassroots Liberty Fair?

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

Dear Liberty-Minded Grassroots Supporter,

I have been going through some of the responses I’ve had concerning Liberty Restoration Project’s next event and I want to expand a bit on what you can expect at the Grassroots Liberty Fair on July 31st.

Almost everyone is interested in different aspects of Liberty. The reason most people do not get involved is because they disagree on small points or may not feel that they have any skills that are useful.

One aspect of true liberty is to have differences. Different focuses and skills will be the #1 key to restoring and preserving Liberty into the future. The goal is to continue our relentless pursuit of Government accountability and personal freedoms.

An array of very diverse organizations and causes can fall under that banner. “Liberty” is a very generic term and could be used to describe many types of activism. True Liberty and Justice transcends political party and issue. The point is that grassroots is what makes it important to us.

Volunteer Activism is the name of the game, and the rule behind our event. It is our hope that the fans that hear about what we do, and would like to support us or like-minded causes, but do not exactly understand the complete array of different tasks that can be done, or do not know what they personally have the power to affect, will feel motivated enough to show up to this event to learn about the small, easy tasks available, and the power that individual effort can have toward our goals.

Whether you can protest on a weekly basis, help organize calendars of events, make phone calls for a political campaign, follow and blog about local government, or use image programs to make newsletters and fliers. Everyone has at least one skill that can be utilized in one form or another to progress freedom and shine a light on how much we can accomplish as several individuals coming together with our different skills and focuses.

If you consider yourself or your organization a grassroots liberty cause and you have some volunteer work that you need done, then think of this event as you would a “Job Fair.” At a job fair you may find companies with goals that seem to conflict. For example, an alcohol distributer and a hospital may recruit at the same job fair. The point is that when both companies have a platform and the freedom to recruit, then the fruits justify the labor and hopefully all companies come out with quality workers. Bring a list of specific tasks and calendars so that you may assign interested volunteers to task on the spot.

This analogy, when applied to the Liberty Movement, could see groups that seem dramatically different and potentially politically opposed, yet both support liberty in general and freedom in principal and both fit the banner of “Liberty Grassroots.”

It is not up to you or me to determine if someone deserves inclusion or censorship in an event such as this. It’s up to the benchmarks of the terms “Grassroots” and “Liberty” to decide.

Liberty Restoration Project is putting on this event as a public service. The views presented at this event are those of the person/group/cause promoting them and may not reflect the views of LRP, our members, donors, or any other organizer presenting.

It is one of my personal goals to eventually see the grassroots protesters and information spreaders working together and networking with those who are working through the halls of government and the courts to try to restore liberty. Show your support. Sign your cause up at info@libertyrestorationproject.org and spread the word to all of your contacts to show up Friday, July 31, 2009 at 5:00 PM at Loose Park in Kansas City, Missouri.

If you would, please RSVP on Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=219362755480
