The Boy who cried “Politics”

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

I’m noticing more and more in my every day paradigm breaking that there seems to be a syndrome of people who try to tie in every legitimate concern with illegitimacy to discredit the processes of life and life’s information.

I call this the “Boy who cried wolf” syndrome. Lets examine the classic children’s fable:

From Wikipedia:

“The Boy Who Cried Wolf, also known as The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf, is a fable attributed to Aesop (210 in Perry’s numbering system[1]). The protagonist of the fable is a bored shepherd boy who entertained himself by calling out “Wolf!”. Nearby villagers who came to his rescue found that the alarms were false and that they had wasted their time. When the boy was actually confronted by a wolf, the villagers did not believe his cries for help and the wolf ate the flock (and in some versions the boy). The moral is stated at the end of the fable as:

Even when liars tell the truth, they are never believed. The liar will lie once, twice, and then perish when he tells the truth.”

They boy cried “Wolf” over and over again, with illegitimate reasons. The townspeople got tired of being alerted for no reason, and let him get eaten alive.

The 10th Amendment
Regardless what you think of the Civil War and its reasoning, what we’re expected by the mainstream to take away from Civil War Studies is that the Southern States were trying to use the 10th Amendment to justify what they felt was a legitimate practice, in violating the rest of the Bill of Rights of certain individuals. The 13th and the 14th Amendment was written.

Ever since then, 10th Amendment discussion has been based mostly on Abortion Law.

There is now a movement to re-assert 10th Amendment rights of the States. We are not being taken seriously.

“10th Amendment!! 10th Amendment!!”
“aww you’re just using that to take other humans’ rights”..slaps the boy..goes back to sleep
“10th Amendment!! 10th Amendment!!”
“Abortion? Really”…goes back to bed
2009-
“10th Amendment!! 10th Amendment!!”
“Not again!@ Who Cares? Go to Bed!!”
………..as the states are eaten by wolves.

Impeachment
“Impeach!! Bad President!!”
“He’s lying about a blow job. This is what is so important, that you called all of us here?”…goes back to bed
“Impeach!! Bad President!!”
“NO MORE PARTISAN GAMES!! GO TO BED!!”
……the wolves eat the constitution

Who do we blame?
Those who make our processes and information illegitimate?
I say we blame the townspeople.
When it’s your duty to watch a child, no matter how many times he gets out of hand and cries wolf, he is still your responsibility.

Reject the notion that any information or constitutional process is no good based on past experience.

Keep an open mind and an open eye trained on your Government.
Or we are ALL Dinner to the wolves.

Missouri Senate Unanimously passes HB 361 to Repeal Real ID in Missouri

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Shortly after 5:00pm on Wednesday May 13, 2009, the Missouri State Senate took a vote on HB 361 to repeal the Federal Real ID Act.

After about an hour of interesting debate, that ranged from unfunded federal mandates, to constitutional infringements, to the political courage of the federal level government’s unwillingness to make it’s own Identification Card, to Senator Purgason’s recently deceased mule, the Senate passed the repeal bill unanimously 32-0.

Please contact your senator and thank them for their support.

Press Release: Missouri Governor Jay Nixon uses police to throw constituents out of office.

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Press Release

For Immediate Release

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon uses police to throw constituents out of office.

Jefferson City, MO. May 6th, 2009

Members of the Liberty Restoration Project and We The People were thrown out of the Governors office today around 12:00pm after being instructed that they were “not welcome to return”. Members of the group were returning for the 4th time to request a meeting over the Missouri Information Analysis Center document that was rescinded. They waited patiently for someone with the Governors office to inform the group when and how they could schedule a meeting when a gentleman with the Governors office (who refused to state his name and job title) approached the group and said he was there to field questions. Catherine Bleish (Executive Director of Liberty Restoration Project) informed the gentleman that they were back for the 4th time to schedule a meeting.

Soon into the conversation, Lt. Mike Meyer with the Missouri Highway Patrol came into the Governors office and informed the LRP that they were “not welcome” in the office and told the citizens not to return. After asking if they were viewed as threats or dangerous, the officer refused to answer the questions and continued to tell the LRP to leave the premise.

The Liberty Restoration Project is a focused group of concerned citizens that feel Government is acting out-of-step with the Constitution and works to return officials to act in the name of the people they serve. The LRP finds this tactic by the Governor and the Missouri Highway Patrol a violation of their right to meet with the Governor, and to be thrown out of “the people’s” office is viewed as a great insult to the people of Missouri.

The LRP is wishing to have media coverage as soon as possible and are working to upload the video taped confrontation to youtube. Please contact Catherine Bleish by phone (816-868-8806 cell) to either have phone interview or TV interview.

Urgent Assistance Needed to Abolish the Real ID in Missouri

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

WE ONLY HAVE 2 DAYS THIS IS URGENT.

1. if you can come to Jefferson City tomorrow facebook me (Catherine Bleish) asap and we’ll get carpools arranged. Anyone in Missouri. We will have cameras. This should be fun.

2. I need someone to put together a sheet we can give to each of the senators regarding the importance of this legislation while we are in town tomorrow.

3. I need patriots to call Sen Shields (R) and demand, politely, that he put HB361 on the calendar TODAY. 573-751-9476.

4. I need patriots to call Sen Engler (R) and demand, politely, when HB361 IS put on the calendar that he get it on the floor for a vote TOMORROW. 573-751-3455. I received some static from their office earlier.

5. Please call Sen. Shomeyer (D) and ask him to talk to Shields about this – he was very receptive to us in the committee hearing. Thank him for his support. 573-751-7852.

NO MATTER WHERE IN THE COUNTRY YOU LIVE, WE NEED TO BE MAKING EACH STATE LEVEL 10TH AMENDMENT ISSUE, SUCH AS THE REAL ID, SOMETHING TO BE ACTED UPON BY THE NATIONAL GRASS ROOTS. Lets get the pressure on.

This died in Sen. Committee Last year. All we are asking for is a vote. The citizens of Missouri and this beautiful Union of sovereign states deserve to see how Missouri senators feel about this issue.

Ask Shields what interest he has in supporting the Real ID… I am quite curious, quite frankly.

peace and love,
Catherine

MO Real ID Update: KEEP CALLING SEN. SHIELDS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY SAY

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Here is the deal. Sheilds’ office has to put on calendar. Engler’s office has to put on floor to vote after it has been put on calendar (they hinted they might not have the time to get it on the calendar, btw). Both offices know that if this isn’t taken care of via phone today we will be there in person with cameras tomorrow. WE WILL ABOLISH THE REAL ID IN MISSOURI

Members of Liberty Restoration Project contacted Senator Shields’ office this morning, and were first told that the committee hasn’t released it, and sent to Senator Callahan, the committee chair.

This information was WRONG. We were told that this was due to an error in website updates, and then sent to Floor Leader Senator Engler’s office as manager of the calender. This was WRONG ALSO

Senator Shields is the one who has to “Send” a bill TO the calendar, and Engler “fits” it in for debate.

Do NOT Let staffers play phone tag with parliamentary rules as we did. Let them know that you know Sen. Shields is the current hurdle and that you KNOW that with one week left of session this bill NEEDS ON THE CALENDAR TODAY! Once on the Calendar, make sure Engler’s office knows it and fits it in!!

Click here for the current status of the bill
(it will say when on calendar)
If possible, record your calls!
