Topic Expert Program, Proposal

In an effort to cultivate local leaders while simultaneously working to educate the public on the various critical issues facing American Citizens today, the Liberty Restoration Project has developed the Topic Expert Program. The objective of the Topic Expert Program contains the following points:

1. Foster and support local leaders within the liberty movement.
2. Educate the masses, starting in Kansas City, one person, one group at a time.
3. Minimize the burden of research and duplication of research/education efforts for the liberty movement.
4. Provide the movement and our community with a set of informed, peer reviewed, speakers available to present all over the country.
5. Serve as a bridge, or point of collaboration, between LRP chapters in various cities/states.
6. Provide a rally point for groups who span across the entire political spectrum.

After extensive research and planning, Topic Experts will make presentations on their issue in a variety of settings. For people who have a basic understanding of their issue, the Topic Exerts will provide an in-depth lecture that will ALWAYS end with a clear plan of action for citizens interested in contributing their time, energy or finances to that particular issue. For citizens or groups who have little to no knowledge of the specific issue, the Topic Experts will provide an introductory level course which, too, should end with a call to action. Courses can be designed to last over multiple sessions or to fit into a one-time slot. Once the program is in full swing, Topic Experts will be available to speak to groups all across the country. A list of all topic experts from all cities and states will be made available on our website, speaking requests may require financial assistance for travel in order for the request to be fulfilled.

Topic Experts will:
1. Choose an LRP “issue” (http://www.libertyrestorationproject.org/issues/ ) or submit their Topic expert Idea to the Executive Director for approval.
2. Blog about their topic of interest (current events, interesting historical facts, etc..)
3. Create and maintain a resource page on our website. This should have a very easy to understand explanation of the topic and how it impacts citizens in our city, state or country (lets try to keep it as local and focused as possible) and should also include an in depth resource list for people interested in doing their own research on the topic. If there are multiple topic experts for a specific issue, they will work together to develop and maintain this.
4. Produce, or help produce, informational fliers about their topic to be used at booths, events, etc…. If there are multiple topic experts for a specific issue, they will work together to develop and maintain these.
5. Develop a beginner and advanced educational curriculum regarding their topic. If there are multiple topic experts for a specific issue, they will work together to develop, update, and improve these training courses.
6. Before becoming an official Topic Expert, trainees will practice their training course(s) in front of representatives of LRP and toastmasters and use their constructive criticism to improve their course in anyway possible. Depending on the clarity of the course, there could be anywhere from 1-5 critiques before the trainee is graduated to an official Topic Expert position.
7. Commit to providing their course to the public at least three times per year.
8. Utilize creative forms of communication, such as You Tube, to reach out to all learning styles.

April 1st is the deadline to submit courses to the communiversity schedule through UMKC ( http://www.umkc.edu/commu/) for their summer schedule. I would like to see at least three topic experts signed up to provide a training course during the summer of 2009.

Here is my proposed timeline to make that happen:
1. Immediately: First round of Topic Expert Trainees begin blogging.
2. January 31st: First round of Topic Expert Trainees complete initial drafts of their resource page for the website by.
3. February 15th: First round of Topic Expert Trainees complete initial drafts of their first informational pamphlet/handout/flier.
4. Month of March: First round Topic Expert Trainees will present their training courses to members of LRP and/or toastmasters.
5. April 2009: First round of Topic Expert Trainees who graduated to Topic Experts will sign up on the communiversity schedule and their information will be listed on the website as a Topic Expert available to make presentations!
6. May 31st: Second round of Topic Expert Trainees will complete their resource page (or have begun collaborating with existing experts if there are multiple people working on the same issue)
7:June 15th: Second round of Topic Expert Trainees will complete initial drafts of their first information pamphlet/handout/flier.
8. Month of July: Second round of Topic Expert Trainees will present their training courses to members of LRP and/or toastmasters.
9. August 2009: Second round of Topic Expert Trainees who graduate to the Topic Expert level will register to teach in the Fall 2009 communiversity schedule.

As this program grows, the research and materials developed during the initial stages (now) can be shared with individuals and groups across the country to utilize in their own local educational efforts. This will have many benefits, including a reduction of duplicate efforts and building cross-country activist coalitions.

I Plead the Second!

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution

It is important to preface any further discussion about the Second Amendment with the following: We do not live in a democracy where 51% of the people get to decide whether or not American citizens may own guns. We live in a republic that is ruled by law.

The law is the United States Constitution. When the people of the United States deem it necessary, they may (with a two-third majority vote from both the House of Representatives and the Senate) amend this document. The first ten amendments to the United States Constitution are called the Bill of Rights.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” –Declaration of Independence.

 

What did the Founder’s say about the Second Amendment? The first thing they said is quoted above. The only entitlement the Constitution grants us is the right to throw out bad governments and start new ones. Everything else is inherently ours, given by the grace of the Creator. I encourage the reader to consider the definition of grace. Grace is unmerited assistance. It is our duty to provide the rest of what we need to exist happily and freely.

 

Constitutional scholar and attorney, Dr. Edwin Vieira, gives a very clear report on what the Constitution offers. Nothing other than a well-regulated militia is necessary for a free state.” According to Vieira, the Constitution does not say anything else is necessary for a free state. Not Congress, not the Presidency, not the Senate. A well-regulated militia is all we need to ensure a free state.

Dr. Vieira gives us a picture of what life was like when the Founder’s formed their opinions about the right to keep and bear arms. In Colonial times, the thirteen states (or colonies) all had laws about citizens owning weapons. The laws for the individual states were basically the same:

1). It was the duty of all free, white able-bodied males between the ages of 16 and 50 (or 60) to purchase and keep arms in their homes and on their person.

2). Firearms were to be bought and sold in the free-market.

3). Citizens could be fined for not being armed.

4). If you could not afford to purchase a firearm the state would provide one for you from the revenues collected from the fines just mentioned.

5). Weapons were exempt from state (government) seizure or confiscation.

6). Weapons were the same or better quality than the British Red Coat’s (the only standing army at that time).

Pre-Constitutional laws regarding militias are the laws that we have today. The Founder’s of the Constitution passed down the law regarding militias, they did not create a new law when they created the Constitution. Why? There was a revolution and war and creation of a new government! The militias were the only defense against standing armies of the time. This is still true today.

It is important to understand the differences between armed forces and militias. Here are just a few differences:

1). Armed Forces receive pay. Militia members are volunteers.

2). Armed Forces can be sent out of the United States. Militia members do not leave the States. It is important to note that standing armies are constitutionally prohibited from the United States. See Amendment 3 of the US Constitution.

3). Armed Forces Chain of Command ends with the President of the United States. Militia’s Chain of Command ends with the Governor.

There is controversy about our National Guard. Some say the National Guard is our Organized Militia. Others believe that because National Guardsmen and women are sent out of the United States the National Guard is a part of the United States Armed Forces. This writer is here to tell you that if this country is “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” the people of the United States must keep the discussion open.

Section 311 of US Code Title 10, entitled, “Militia: composition and classes” says;

 

(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.

(b) The classes of the militia are —
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of

the National Guard or the Naval Militia.

 

The point this writer is trying to make is this: We have a right to arm ourselves and our individual states are required to provide for and allow a militia, either organized or unorganized. Should the subject of the Second Amendment arise with the reader, it is this writer’s hope that individuals will remember that “the right to keep and bear arms” is only part of the statement that James Madison placed into the Bill of Rights. The big picture is of American’s being able to organize and protect themselves against armies and tyrants.

The writer of this article is neither a constitutional attorney nor a politician. This writer is a citizen who is deeply concerned about keeping liberty in the hands of the people, and out of the hands of politicians and tyrants.

Oil Dependency and the Coming Crisis

I was asked by a good friend to write a blog about our dependence on oil. I’m not an expert on the topic but my research has left me deeply concerned about my family’s future. I should also say that this blog’s intention is only to summarize the views of the “peak oil” movement. There are alternative and more optimistic views that I won’t be covering at this time.

Let me first state that our addiction to oil is absolute. Our world’s economy, in its current state, would not function if oil production diminished as rapidly as many believe it soon will. As we run out of fossil fuels, we’ll need real and adequate alternatives in place and we’re looking to come up far short. Today’s renewable solutions are still dependent upon oil for fabrication. Devices that harness wind and solar power and then store those electric currents for later use are nowhere near as efficient as they need to be. A failure to come up with alternatives could lead to a cataclysmic change of events.

A growing number of our society’s leaders: lawyers, CEOs, politicians, investors, and scientists are coming to the realization that a global energy crisis could be coming sooner rather than later. “Hubbert’s Peak” is a theory that looks historically at our rate of discovery of new oil reservoirs vs. our consumption of oil. Hubbert’s numbers show that we are currently sitting at the peak of worldwide oil production. In the near future, when oil production begins to decline as demand for energy increases exponentially worldwide, it’s believed that there will not be sufficient energy to sustain life as we know it.

One of the most convincing experts on the Peak Oil scene is Matthew Simmons, a hugely successful energy investor. His book, Twilight in the Desert: The Coming Saudi Oil Shock and the World Economy, describes, in laymen terms, scientific findings regarding the Saudi oil industry and concludes they’re running out much more rapidly than previously thought. He is aggressively seeking help to establish alternative sources of energy for our country and the world. His message to other investors is severe: “crude oil has peaked, it’s future decline could be swift, we lack the resources and tools to offset decline, and we are still ‘highly dependent’ on old and unaudited super-giant oil fields.” He’s also mentioned that the most recent decline in oil production and prices will likely exacerbate the problem because the oil industry is in desperate need of funding for maintenance and renovation. Matt Savinar, a licensed attorney in California, is someone who’s literally dedicated his life to the topic of Peak Oil. He’s the creator of the site www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net. His message is very clear and to the point: “Dear Reader, Civilization as we know it is coming to an end soon.” Savinar has recently devoted a majority of his time toward his family’s survival preparedness. He’s recognized that a swift decline in oil production without viable energy alternatives would lead to global economic collapse and cataclysmic shortages in supplies, particularly food. The online community he’s created is very active and full of helpful people. I encourage everyone to read what they have to say.

You may be wondering what has Mr. Savinar, a lawyer with his life ahead of him, preparing us for the disaster of all disasters. It’s probably The Olduvai Theory, written by Richard C. Duncan, PhD. The theory explains that the abundance of electricity has led to a population boom that can only be supported by fossil fuels for approximately 100 years: 1930 to 2030. It then examines how a decline in oil production would lead to permanent electrical blackouts worldwide. The theory goes on to state that “world population will decline proximate with [world energy availability].” Different opinions are expressed regarding world population decline, but the theory speculates that renewable energy sources would only support 2 billion people worldwide. That kind of apocalyptic message is almost impossible to accept, but I challenge you to find an adequate argument against that scenario.

It would be one thing if these were discussions held by extremist organizations or individuals with significant emotional problems. But the people making these claims are intelligent and highly successful in their careers. Doctors, lawyers, CEOs, politicians, and scientists… People from all walks of life and varying political spectrums. Don’t take my word for it, however. I implore you all to do some research on this issue. This blog is only a taste of what’s out there.

I see a world that will be dependant on oil right to the bitter end. Just as we’re dependent upon credit in today’s economy, we’ll hold onto oil regardless of the potential consequences because we refuse to give up the “high life”. It takes shocking events like the collapse of multi-billion dollar corporations and worldwide blackouts to get people to notice there’s a problem. But then, there isn’t much hope that those in power will make good decisions and steer us toward salvation, either. In the case of our current economic crisis, poor decisions have been made by the U.S. government that will likely prolong our troubles for many years. My friends, the same is the case with the leaders in the oil industry. According to Simmons, they’ve done a very poor job analyzing their own shortcomings and reacting to known deficiencies.

The solution may be that we revert to a very urban way of life (rather than suburban). We consolidate near our schools, businesses, and grocery stores. We use muscle to get to and perform our work. We give all the remaining fossil fuels to our farmers and alternative energy researchers. And eventually, we become masters of renewable energy. It will be the biggest challenge in humanity’s history and I believe we will eventually prevail.

But when the oil crunch begins, we may all make drastic and counter-productive decisions before we calm down and accept our fate. Because there is no solution or plan currently in place, I believe there will be a harsh transition period before civilization stabilizes again. We can either learn to become completely independent of society, lead the way toward resolving this problem for everyone, or hope someone figures this all out just in the nick of time. Fortunately, we still have that choice.

Liberty Restoration Project speaks to Constitutional Party National Committee about “Trans- Party Collaboration.”

Kansas City, MO. This past weekend local resident Catherine Bleish, Director of the Liberty Restoration Project (LRP), was invited to speak about trans-party collaboration and the importance of local organizing at the Constitution Party’s National Committee Meeting in Orlando, Florida. After watching the two major parties wage war against each other in an effort to land the Presidency this year, the LRP realized that to accomplish real Constitutional changes in our country, the barriers that the two major parties have created between the American people must be demolished.

George Washington warned the American public in his farewell address of the dangers of extreme political factionalism. Indeed, the repercussions of divisive political rhetoric can be seen in our country today. Instead of addressing the root cause of many of our economic and social problems, our elected officials, the American people have turned against each other in the name of political partisanship.

While our election-inflicted wounds heal, it is important for the American people to remember that we do have something to unite around: The Constitution. It is imperative that we immediately begin to look past the things that divide us and work to protect and restore the document that ensures our freedom from oppressive government. The longer we continue to focus on the small differences between us, the further our representatives will erode our freedom.

New News from Lawrence

Hello friends ~
More news out of Lawrence!!
I met with Americans For Prosperity and really like their practical approach and DATA they have on the highway system. They talked about Lawrence’s “T” bus system and the funds that are essentially being misused. We will have a surplus of 2 million dollars, if I remember right. Soooo….where is that money going??
Meanwhile, I’m going to focus more on the city commission here — just try and attend a few of their mtgs and get an idea of how the process works if nothing else! These mtgs are open to the public — more people can do the same thing in their own communites. GET INVOLVED – it’s the difference between freedom and more gov’t slavery.
Topeka is holding a C4L meeting that I reeeaallly want to attend; again, it’s all about building the intrastate network across Kansas!! If you’re in the area, please join in!! We’ve got to be more involved also with the state legislative process, and Topeka members are VITAL to this effort.
This is probably my last little post until after the Christmas holiday. I’m taking some time to step back and regroup, myself. Read one or two books and get educated as best as possible. Times are changing quickly – if we can build an integrated, intra-state network, we can tackle issues much more smoothly and get word/education spread faster than ever. Freedom of information will be key in 2009, as well as CONNECTIONS with people. Get to know your neighbors! Sugar cookies are great conversation-starters ; )

Kansas City Increases Dependence on Feds

As the changing climate is being used as an excuse for authoritarian collectivism I keep an eye on the progression of eco-tyranny here in Kansas City. We certainly have not been spared. Kansas City recently adopted a new Climate Protection Plan that is a typical bloated mandate of higher taxes, greater regulation, make-work programs and forced compliance. Now we’re facing increased involvement by the Federal Government, at the request of council members.

Councilmembers join call for federal investment in local ‘green’ programs

Eleven members of the City of Kansas City, Mo., City Council and Mayor Mark Funkhouser are joining a national coalition of elected local government officials to push for federal investment in local climate action to create new green jobs, revitalize the economy and promote energy independence.

“We want the new administration to know that with federal assistance we are ready to put Kansas City residents to work in jobs that will reduce our dependence on foreign oil and cut greenhouse gas emissions.” said Councilwoman Cindy Circo, 5th District.

The Councilmembers, along with more than 340 local government elected officials, joined Climate Communities and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability to endorse “Empowering Local Government Climate Action: Blueprint for the New President and 111th Congress.”

“Supporting local government action should be a top priority as Washington develops new economic stimulus, climate and energy policies,” said Councilman John Sharp, 6th District. “Local governments are dramatically affected when our communities suffer human and economic loss from floods, water shortages and other climate events.”

Currently there are no federal programs to support local climate and energy initiatives. The local government climate action blueprint calls for stimulus legislation to include:

- $2 billion annually for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program (68 percent of which would be direct funding to local government)

- Funding the Green Jobs Act of 2007 at $125 million annually to support worker training in emerging manufacturing and hi-tech sector green collar jobs

- $400 million annually for the Clean Cities program to support low-emission vehicles and cleaner fuels, including alternative fuel infrastructure and plug-in hybrid vehicles

- $100 million annually for the Forest Service’s Urban and Community Forestry program

- Investment in public transit, green vehicles and vehicle miles traveled (VMT) reduction

- $250 million annually for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Local Climate Demonstration Grants that empower local governments to continue creating new solutions to the climate challenge.

In commenting on the endorsement of the blueprint, Councilwoman Jan Marcason, 4th District, noted the leadership involved in the City’s adoption of Climate Protection Plan, Green Solutions Policy and the integration of green solutions into the new sewer overflow control plan.

Councilmembers who signed on to the blueprint, include: Deb Hermann and Bill Skaggs, 1st District, Ed Ford and Russ Johnson, 2nd District, Melba Curls, 3rd District, Beth Gottstein and Marcason, 4th District, Circo and Terry Riley, 5th District, and Cathy Jolly and Sharp, 6th District.

Green collar jobs?

The Federal Government is a drug. An addictive deleterious narcotic. As Kansas City increases its dependence so increases the pain of withdrawal and willingness to submit. If Kansas Citians want to try to make the city a greener place they can do so on their own. They need not kneel.

Hello everyone! This is the first official blog coming from Lawrence, KS (far as I know)…..so these are tidbits that will hopefully be some food for thought:
  • Coalition building: Myself and Jim Vineyard are both working to bring the smaller groups together. Jim is the C4L precinct leader for Douglas County, and has undergone some training in the campaign “boot camp” so to speak.
  • Local issues: here in Lawrence, homelessness is on the rise. I am incensed to learn that last year city crews demolished a semi-permanent structure down by the Kansas river, built from scrap metal and timber. Michael Tanner, one of the homeless, posed this question to our brilliant mayor: “Is it legal for me, or any other homeless person, to protect myself from freezing to death?” The University Daily Kansan stated, “Mayor Mike Dever was at a loss for words.”
  • I am EXCITED about LibertyFest 2009 — right now we’re pinning down a date, followed by venue and fundraising. Here in Lawrence, hopefully I can recruit some bands!!!

The REAL Big Three

“The Big 3” is a phrase we have been hearing quite a bit about in the latter parts of December 2008, but this article has nothing to do with automakers. When I listen to the nationally sponsored media, all I hear about is our economic woes and panelists predicting the future trends of the US markets and how we will rebound stronger than ever before. When I hear these words, I find myself laughing a bit. Maybe it’s because I have listened to Gerald Celente (http://www.trendsresearch.com/) predict a Greater Depression, or Peter Schiff (http://www.europac.net/) talk about how it is necessary to let our current economy collapse in order to achieve a functional financial system ever again.

These are all people that have been labeled as “kooks” or “nut jobs” and laughed at privately and even on camera in front of millions. But let me add that these are only 2 men in a long list of “whacko’s” that see the pattern emerging. It’s a pattern that I loving refer to as “The Real Big Three”. If you venture with me along this journey, you may also see the pattern and realize that this ultimate agenda is well underway if not already finalized.

The first part of my foresight revolves around the heart of the issue, and most everyone on this planet has a hand in this affair, money. Everyone needs some form of it, people want more and more of it to buy the things they not only need, but want. We as Americans have lulled ourselves into an unrealistic trance that was designed to enslave us, and now we are face-to-face with that demon. The demon I refer to is debt, and most all of us have some form of it. Not that debt is a bad thing in a bigger picture, but you have to have positive equity (I.E. house, transportation) to sustain a quality of life that you accept. Some people have found ways of living below “the grid”, and I admire that, but also know that I do not wish to live below “the grid”. I wish to live in the country our founding fathers and patriot’s fought and died for!

So with money being our first puzzle piece, we have to look at the US source of money, and that finger points to the Federal Reserve Banks of the United States. The Federal Reserve’s functions is:

“to provide for the establishment of Federal reserve banks, to furnish an elastic currency, to afford means of rediscounting commercial paper, to establish a more effective supervision of banking in the United States, and for other purposes.”

In other words, they are a bank for bankers, owned by bankers, and operated by bankers with very little oversight from our Federal Government. They have never been audited by anyone outside of their ranks and they not only control our monetary system, but they also control our gold supply. So as I think about the lunacy of this whole process, it becomes pretty clear who’s interest the banks are looking after. Even our current Chairman of the Board of Governors, Ben Bernake, admitted that the Federal Reserve was responsible for CAUSING the Great Depression.

So now that we have a late confession, I can see a motive. The motive to use our current financial failings, excessive public greed, and debt slavery to inflate our dollar.

Economics. a persistent, substantial rise in the general level of prices related to an increase in the volume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency

Our Government has allowed passage of $850 Billion dollars for “Toxic Assets Recovery Program” (TARP), which was completely abandoned the day after this measure was passed, and went directly to injecting capitol into banks with VERY little oversight. Meanwhile, the Fed slips 2 TRILLION dollars into our economy with NO oversight or approval, and the printing presses are STILL running at full steam. The cycle continues and will continue until the Federal Reserve and a select handful or privileged officials systematically ram our economy into the deepest crater of this planet, causing a catastrophic collapse of the greatest empire history has ever know.

What would happen if the US economy was worthless, and every “dollar” printed was worthless, or even laughable? Or Government would be forced to embrace a new system, right? Well fortunately that infrastructure is already in motion, isn’t that GREAT? They are calling it the North American Union (NAU), and it will be a borderless country between Mexico, US, and Canada. They even have a new currency devised for this “NAU”, they call it the “Amero”. If you think I am nuts, then I implore you to do your research.

The NAU will be very similar to the European Union that is already a done deal, with it’s currency the “Euro”. The infrastructure that is being placed coincides with current NAFTA agreements, and it will use a so-called “Super-highway” to transport goods from Mexico, to the USA, and into Canada. The ONLY stop that is required is in Kansas City, MO. and it’s aptly named “KC Smartport” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SmartPort). Authorities in Mexico would be required to scan all goods coming into the US, then they would stop into Kansas City (approximately 1000 miles). Once in Kansas City, they would be scanned again to make sure the cargo was consistent with records, then off they go to Canada.

Obviously there are several things that can go wrong with this plan. Drug smuggling would shoot through the roof, illegal immigration would be more out of control, and violence would escalate to new highs as people fight for their lands and rights.

So how does the government keeps tabs on all of this? Seems like it would be an impossible feat, unless you already had a plan in place that could be used to track us at any given moment on this entire planet and have access to every quiver of information about us. Medical records, bank access, educational records all accessible at the blink of an eye? Seems farfetched, but it’s legal! H.R. 418 was slipped into a package that was meant to be for increasing funds for the soldiers fighting in Iraq, and who can deny the troops? So the Real ID law was passed (2005) mandating that every state must adopt a new Federal approved driver’s license that would be used to track where we go. You won’t be able to enter a Federal building without one, board an airplane, nuclear power plant, or anything else the Department of Defense deems worthy.

These plans have even gone as far as discussing implanting micro ID chips under our skin at birth that will store all of our vital information. So if the government has all this control, what will they do with those that refuse to take a national ID card? My guess is something similar to Guantanamo Bay for dissenters or illegal immigrants. If they have ultimate control over our lives, who’s to say that if you were telling people about what life used to be like “before the chip”, and the government didn’t like what you had to say, they could just shut off your chip. Just like that, there goes all your money, your legal identification, and health records.

All of this is plausible, and it’s all legal in one form or another, and if this isn’t enough to make you wonder about the motives of our great leaders, then maybe you should put your head back in the sand and let the rest of us deal with the real world.

I refuse to write anything without offering ideas, or solutions. They may not be the right ones, but at least I am offering something up in reward to you reading all the way to this point. Here is a list of things you can do to fight back in accordance to a true patriot:

· Purchase a firearm or 2 and learn to use them to protect your home and family.

· Get cozy with your Congressmen, Representatives, and Senators. Call them at least 2 times a month until you get the action you want. It only takes about 10 minutes, take the time!

· Research as much as possible regarding these issues, and the plethora of other issues surrounding our civil liberties and freedom. Research now saves egg in the face later.

· Educate, encourage, and intervene! Get people involved by educating them about the truth they won’t hear on national news. Take it slow though because it’s a big jump!

· Lastly, band with like minded people!

Adopt a Veteran? 150 Christmas Meals.

Hi all, I wanted to reach out and see if there is any support to help with an adopt a veteran project for Christmas (and hopefully beyond?)?  I have 150 meals I can provide on Christmas day and I’d like it to go to veterans in need, but I don’t know 150 veterans.  I’d also like to get a list of veterans and their needs and try to help them out in any way possible.  Match donors and supporters to individuals, help them build an ongoing support network.  I know many of our Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans are struggling with health care, finances, personal relationships, etc…  And we should be supporting them for the service they provide to our country.  Let me know if you are interested – as soon as I know the need, I can make something happen.
